We live in a world that's obsessed with happiness. We are bombarded with 'the pursuit of happiness', 'the art of happiness' be happy, stay happy, how to find happiness....the list is endless. There's nothing wrong with it in fact it's highly admirable but the truth is more often than not we find ourselves feeling the opposite....
Things, people, circumstances and certain situations can get you down and over time broken. I feel like the strong emphasis on happiness sometimes masks the feeling of being broken. Even when you ask someone how they are, it's almost automatic for them to answer "I'm well, I'm okay, I'm great". It's very rare for you to hear someone say that " I'm not well, I'm feeling really broken".

I just want to say that it's okay to feel broken. You don't have to be happy or pursue happiness at all times...
